Lieutenancy Officer, Joe Bradshaw
Following a successful career serving in the Royal Air Force Joe joined the Buckinghamshire Lieutenancy Office in April 2002. The first major visit he was involved in was the Golden Jubilee visit to Aylesbury on 10 May 2002; since then he has been involved in the organisation of over 200 royal visits to Buckinghamshire.
Joe’s role is to support the Lord-Lieutenant in the organisation of royal visits to the county, the organisation of award ceremonies (Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service and British Empire Medal) on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, support to the Buckinghamshire Honours Committee, the coordination of nominations for attendance at Royal Garden Parties at Buckingham Palace and liaison with the local military units and cadet organisations in support of the Armed Forces covenant, and liaison with Deputy Lieutenants carrying out their duties in support of the Lord-Lieutenant.
