The Countess Howe, His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire is pleased to appoint Sir Francis Habgood QPM DL as Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire to succeed Mr Alexander Boswell DL from 30th November 2023.
Francis was appointed Chief Constable of Thames Valley Police in 2015 retiring in 2019 after over 32 years in policing.
Francis was awarded the Queen’s Police Medal in 2012 and was knighted for his services to policing in 2021. He was made Deputy Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire in 2020.
