Receiving a message from The Queen  is an extra special gesture to mark a memorable day and is met with delight from recipients. Some life events are worth recognition and that is certainly true of the milestones that can be celebrated with a personal message from The Queen.

Who Can Request A Message From The Queen

Available to anyone marking these special occasions, a family member can apply for a message to be sent for the following milestones:

​

  • 100th birthday

  • 105th birthday (and every year after)

  • 60th wedding anniversary (diamond anniversary)

  • 65th wedding anniversary (blue sapphire anniversary)

  • 70th wedding anniversary (platinum anniversary)


If you would like a family member or friend to receive a message from The Queen to mark one of the above celebrations, make sure you apply to the Government office five weeks before the date.

In the event that you overlook the date, belated applications can also be made up to six months after the date.
