The Buckinghamshire recipients recognised in this year's Birthday Honours span an exceptional breadth of professional and voluntary endeavour. Their contributions reflect excellence across art curation and research, healthcare leadership, justice and prison services, philanthropy, social housing, music and broadcasting. Honourees have also been acknowledged for their work in technology, business and inclusion, further education, industrial innovation, and parliamentary service. In addition, many have demonstrated outstanding commitment to charitable fundraising, bereavement support, disability sport, and community engagement.

Collectively, their efforts highlight a strong dedication to public service, the advancement of key sectors, and sustained support for local communities and voluntary organisations.

This recognition also extends to those who, while not residing within Buckinghamshire, make a significant contribution through their work in the county, further enriching its communities and public life.

His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, The Countess Howe, said:

“I am delighted for the Buckinghamshire residents recognised with an award today.

We are privileged to be home to a number of diverse and gifted individuals who work tirelessly to improve the lives of our residents and the wider population of this nation. It affords me immense pride that their achievements have been recognised.  I applaud them all and thank them for their admirable commitment and dedication.”

Lady Howe added: “I would encourage everyone to consider whether they know of an individual whom they might nominate for a national honour. There are many unsung heroes continually going above and beyond in our communities, for whom national recognition would be a fitting way of acknowledging their contribution.  The Buckinghamshire Lieutenancy Office can provide guidance on how to make a nomination.”
