Buckinghamshire businesses celebrated as The King’s Awards for Enterprise mark their 60th anniversary

Businesses operating in Buckinghamshire, have today, (Wednesday 6th May 2026), been announced as winners of the King’s Award for Enterprise (KAE).

 

The King’s Awards for Enterprise recognise outstanding UK businesses across five categories: Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development, Promoting Opportunity, and the new category Young Founder.



The 2026 award winners in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes are:

 

Monodraught Ltd for Innovation

CTE Advanced Technologies Ltd for International Trade


His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, The Countess Howe said

 

“My warmest congratulations to Monodraught on its outstanding achievements in innovation, and to CTE Advanced Technologies Ltd on its exceptional success in international trade. The King’s Award for Enterprise is among the highest honours bestowed upon UK businesses, and both organisations are fully deserving of this prestigious recognition.

 

Through their unwavering commitment to excellence, forward‑thinking approaches, and sustained investment in cutting‑edge technology, Monodraught and CTE have demonstrated exemplary leadership in their respective fields while enhancing the United Kingdom’s reputation on the global stage. I very much look forward to visiting each organisation in due course to present the Awards on behalf of His Majesty The King.”

Applications for the 2027 Awards across all categories open on 6 May and close on 12 September, with applications submitted via the official online portal.
